Founder's Profile
Meet Charu Sharma, the visionary behind House of Vitti. Born and brought up in Delhi, Charu has always been a passionate enthusiast of traditional Indian footwear and a keen follower of Indian crafts and culture. Her mother's hometown of Jalandhar, renowned for its jutti craftsmanship, was a pivotal influence in her life. Charu was captivated by the intricate designs, the exceptional skills, and the dedication of the artisans who created these juttis, inspiring her to launch her own collection.
Charu pursued her academic interests by completing her studies in Philosophy at Delhi University. When the pandemic brought the world to a halt, Charu saw it as an opportunity to hone her knowledge of traditional Indian techniques and took up several fashion courses, including one with Learn from Manish Malhotra from the London School Of Trends, to expand her creativity.
Charu's vision for House of Vitti is to infuse everyday style with the radiance of elegance and ethnicity. She hopes to spread the light of Indian culture and craftsmanship to the world through her brand, offering a vast range of juttis that embody the charm and richness of Indian traditions.
